The Company was established as Yamatetsu Seitojo in 1887 in the City of Seto (Aichi Pref.) famous for its porcelain industry.
In 1957, the Company has moved to its current location within the same city and incorporated under the trade name of Maruwai Advanced Ceramics. Since then, the Company has come to manufacture sintered tubes, electrical insulating bobbins and ceramic insulator though ongoing research & development activity in materials selection and form shaping.
The Company offers wide range of materials to meet needs in multiple industry sectors; such as alumina, magnesia, steatite, mullite, cordierite, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and zirconia.
In response to the increasing needs in ultra-high temperature processing, the Company manufactures from various materials the component of industrial apparatus and home appliances, such as ceramic insulators for electric heaters, for which high level of heat resistance and electrical insulation are vital factors.
